Titled as one of “The Most Instagrammable” cafes in Jakarta, BC’s Cone has instantly become the talk of the town, serving interesting and colorful soft ice cream from an artistic point of view. They have an assortment of ice cream flavors with pretty pastel palettes that you probably have never tasted or seen before – black cheesecake, Thai milk tea, matcha soy, French Earl Grey, taro and strawberry rose are among the choices. The cones come in various exciting tastes and colors too; charcoal, red velvet, green tea and mango. For sure they have selections of ice cream that not only soothe your cravings but also please your eyes!
If you can’t decide what to choose, opt for their Artsy Palette that consists of a tray of six mini cones with selected flavors and fun toppings – the most favorite flavors in the house are black cheesecake, strawberry rose and Thai milk tea. Toting the well-known shaved-ice Japanese ice cream and desserts, Kamo Kuma Dessert House & Bistro wins dessert hunters’ hearts with bowls of their imaginative, tasty and natural ice cream desserts.
Milk Kumabowl #5 for instance, has everything you could ever wish for – Kuma ball, taro pudding, bubble, mochi, red bean, coconut jelly, almonds, vanilla ice cream and condensed milk. There may seem to be too many elements in a bowl, but taste wise it is so flavorful and enjoyable. With 13 cafes already in Malaysia, Sweet Hut has now expanded to Indonesia with its red-hot, cozy, garden concept café. Much admired as “Your Dessert Specialist”, Sweet Hut uses fruit as their key ingredient. Nevertheless, it surely knows ways to cheat your diet.
A healthy indulgence starts with the Fresh Mango Sago Pomelo Soup with Mango Ice Cream and Coconut Pudding. Surprisingly, its humble presentation may fool you as the taste is light and the natural sweet comes from the mango ice cream topped with generous mango slices. Sweet Hut claims to use natural sweets and even a minimum amount of sugar in their offerings, and this is well proven on the flavor of their desserts.
Craving a cake? Sweet Hut provides Baked Marquis Chocolate Pudding with Cookies Ice-cream. The chocolate lava cake texture is smooth and rich and the flavor is not too sweet with melting chocolate inside. Another variant worth munching on involves matcha (green tea), which has as many antioxidants as 10 cups of regular tea – so this gives you a great excuse to try the Matcha Lava Cake. This lava cake needs 20 minutes of preparation as it needs to be served warm – but when you get your hands on the green cake and taste its sweet flavor, you’ll know it is worth the wait.
Meanwhile, the Fresh Milk Oreo Snow Ice with Caramel Pudding will keep those who love milk happy with its light texture and rich flavor. When you take a bite the creamy yet silky caramel pudding will just melt in your mouth.
